Donny GoodMac Wines
Donny GoodMac Wines began in 2002 as a dream forged at a table near the fish tanks at Golden Century Seafood Restaurant in Sydney’s Chinatown. Donny is Donald Stuart Gregor, a former wine writer, author, judge, Len Evans scholar and commentator who now makes a living running Liquid Ideas, a marketing and PR business based in Sydney. Good is Kate Goodman, winemaker extraordinaire, currently Senior Winemaker, Punt Road Wines, ex-Seppelt Great Western, leading Show Judge, Len Evans scholar and top chick. Mac is Cameron Mackenzie, former Olympic runner whose career was tragically cut short by the drink, now Sales and Marketing Director at Punt Road Wines and formerly the communications guru at Beringer Blass Wines. We try very hard to make the wines we love to drink, we source grapes from the places we have known and admired for a long time, and we drink whenever we can with as much food and laughter as we can muster.
Donny GoodMac is our little bit of pork on the side. We hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoy making it for you.
